Iruna e-Logistics Platform Officially Operates, Ready to Make Initial Investment of 260 Billion Rupiah

Building three warehouses located in Surabaya and Yogyakarta, gaining partnerships with modern retailers for drop and pick up points, as well as cooperating with airlines

e-logic platform Irun inaugurated its business launch in Sunter, Jakarta on Thursday (30/3). Iruna is here as a technology partner for SMEs, businesses E-commerceand brand local people who need logistics services.

Irun carry the concept "Delivered by Technology" with solution Back-end to integrate technology from each of its services, from warehouse, packaging to strategy last mile delivery. Iruna is owned by a local investor with an undisclosed identity.

With one-time registration in the system, the seller can be directly registered to all selected online stores or offline stores. In the early stages of establishment, continued Yan, Iruna will focus on adding a warehouse of 3 thousand to 10 thousand m2 in various locations as a place to store stock of goods. In pipeline, this year it plans to add two other warehouses located in Surabaya and Yogyakarta.

Meanwhile, in the next two years Yan targets Iruna to have nine warehouses. The locations are spread out to support the Sumatra region, warehouses will be built in Medan and Palembang.

For Sulawesi it will be built in Manado and Makassar, Kalimantan will be built between Balikpapan or Pontianak. Meanwhile, to support Eastern Indonesia, a warehouse will be built in Ambon.

As for the investment fund budget that is ready to be disbursed by Iruna, it is estimated that it will touch the figure of US $ 20 million or around Rp. 260 billion. With details, the investment per warehouse plus the supporting fleet will cost around IDR 5 billion to IDR 7 billion.

"The amount of investment will depend on the area of ​​the warehouse, the larger the area, the greater the need for the supporting fleet. However, I estimate the total investment to be disbursed this year can reach US$20 million."

Iruna's Targets and Ambitions

Throughout this year, Iruna has announced the targets and ambitions that must be achieved to support the company's business. From the warehouse side, it is expected that by the end of the year Iruna will have three warehouses with deliveries same day service available in 12 provinces, next day service 34 provinces, and regular is available in all provinces in Indonesia and across global borders.

Meanwhile, in terms of integration marketplaces, Iruna targets to partner with more than 30 companies and the number of MSMEs, SMEs, and owners E-commerce more than 125 entrepreneurs.

Meanwhile, Iruna has only partnered with four e-commerce companies, such as Oktagon, Orami, Cucumber and Tinamee. Meanwhile, in terms of pick up and drop point locations, Iruna has collaborated with Indosat Ooredoo.

Iruna will use thousands of Indosat outlets, outlets, and galleries as a point touchpoints delivery and collection of goods for consumers. In addition to Indosat Ooredoo, Iruna will also provide other points through the use of modern retail outlets, however, the identity of the company cannot be stated.

To reach delivery points throughout Indonesia, Iruna is also exploring various collaborations with airlines. Some names that are in the finalization stage are Cathay Pacific Airline, Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airlines, and others.

"By achieving all of these targets, we are confident that we will achieve economies of scale by the end of the year.
