Now Buy Airplane Tickets Through Tiketcom

Finally Tiket.com perfecting its services prior to the grand launching. After serving hotel room reservations, cinema tickets, and concert/event tickets, Tiket.com is currently serving the purchase of airline tickets to various cities in Indonesia, plus a number of foreign cities. Currently Tiket.com's partners are Lion Air, Sriwijaya Air and Batavia Air. It's a shame that there is no third-party online service that works with Garuda or Citilink -- but after all, Garuda also has its own online reservation facility.

You could say almost all cities that have flight paths are on this Tiket.com list. In addition, users can also peek at routes to Singapore, Guangzhou, Jeddah, and Riyadh if they want to travel abroad. To find out how much it costs for a trip, users don't need to log in first. But I suggest if you are serious about ordering through Tiket.com, it's better to log in first -- it's easier and faster to use a Facebook account. Tiket.com contains flight schedules and costs until early 2013.

The flow process is quite easy. As usual, after getting the right flight schedule, we need to fill in passenger data as validation. What I find a bit "annoying" is that the price listed in the search is the price before tax and service fees and we only know the total after reaching the Payments section. In fact, we know that these two components include significant cost increases. It's a good idea to have both components listed from the start so that prospective passengers really know how much the net costs must be spent before starting to fill out various forms.

Besides using Rupiah currency, Tiket.com also serves purchases in US Dollars. Users can get a little profit if they use US Dollars because the exchange rate used is lower than the exchange rate on the market today.
