Ministry of Trade Prepares Consumer Complaint Application on Mobile Platform

As a form of providing comfort for product consumers in Indonesia, the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) recently announced that it is preparing a consumer complaint application. The application is planned to be published on March 1, 2016 on the Android and iOS platforms. App launch mobile devices This is considered effective to ensure consumers launch complaints to the right parties.

On the launch date, Android and iOS handset owners can search the Store with the keyword "consumer complaints". In addition to special applications, the Ministry of Trade will also launch special services via WhatsApp for these needs. These two initiatives are carried out in commemoration of Consumer Complaint Month, which will be celebrated sequentially from February to March.

In celebration of National Consumer Day, there are two main digital-based concentrations that will become the most important part of public education. That is about E-commerce and electronic products. Socialization about customer service for these products will be tightened this month. This is in line with the increasing user traction E-commerce and enthusiasts of digital products.

The steps mentioned above are not done without purpose. According to the Director General of Consumer Protection and Commerce (PKTN) Widodo, his party wants to invite consumers to become more critical and business actors to be better and responsible in running their business. Especially in the era e-commerce, all done through the intermediary of the virtual world.
