Maria Herawati Manik Becomes the New Country Manager of Rumah123

After serving as Rumah123 Country Manager for almost four years, Ignatius Untung announced his retirement from management house123 today (22/02). To DailySocial, Untung revealed, the reason he left Rumah123 was to realize a new plan which he still refused to explain further. Lucky is also a Chairman of idEA.

"For 2-3 months, I want to help a friend build a startup before joining a new place where I can't say the name of the company. Update again if I can share company name."

During his tenure as Rumah123 Country Manager, Untung was responsible for expanding Rumah123's business in Indonesia, including developing technology and accelerating business growth.

New Country Manager

Rumah123, which is a subsidiary of the REA Group, immediately announced Maria Herawati Manik as the new Country Manager of Rumah123. Maria has joined Rumah123 since 2017 as GM Sales and has more than 18 years of experience in Sales and Marketing.

To DailySocial, Maria revealed some of the focuses of Rumah123 under her leadership, including staying focused on improving consumer experience in the search for property with new innovations that will also help property industry players in Indonesia. Asked whether there were any changes in the management of Rumah123, Maria confirmed that there were no significant changes.

"Currently our focus is still on becoming the number one property site in Indonesia with more than one million shares listingsecondary nor primary listing presented to home seekers. In 2019, we will also issue the latest innovations on our website to make it easier for consumers to search for homes," said Maria.

Maria will be part of the REA Group International Leadership Team reporting directly to Henry Ruiz, CEO of REA Group Asia.

"Maria has in-depth knowledge of the property industry in Indonesia, and also has a strong relationship with customer we. Since joining in 2017, Maria has played an important role in growing Rumah123 as the best portal of choice in the property business.
