Counter Live Studio Launched, Integrated "Video Conferencing" Application for Hosting Online Events

Establishing Counters as an end-to-end platform for organizing events

Loket today (22/9) officially released its newest product, "Loket Live Studio". Simply put, this service facilitates anyone who wants to hold an event online online. It includes features to publish events, monetize, to broadcast live events.

Conceptually similar to the Zoom or Google Meet application which was previously widely used for social media hold an event live online. The difference is, Loket integrates this feature with various services that already exist in its ecosystem, so there is no need to install an application to do this videoconferencing or live streaming. With this, it can be said that the counter now accommodates the organization of events online in a manner end-to-end.

In a virtual press conference held this afternoon, VP Loket Mohamad Ario Adimas demonstrated the Live Studio Counter. Some features broadcasting/live streaming integrated into the Counter service which can be accessed via the website. The menu is quite standard and quite simple, starting from audio/video call document, messages, to screen sharing. A unique value that it tries to bring, Live Studio also features additional camera/audio configurations, allowing event organizers to add devices input more.

Meanwhile, for the distribution of access on the user side, Loket Live Studio also has a relatively new feature. Usually event online use link video streaming single for all participants, while in Live Studio each participant will get a unique link to enter the event. According to Adimas, this is more effective for use in events online paid -- reduces the risk of the single link being shared publicly.

Previously, in May 2020, the counter was already ahead released Loket Live . service. Enables virtual event management. It includes several services, integrates ticket management systems and video streaming with GoPlay technology support.

The Head of Loket Tubagus Utama said that during the pandemic more than 97% of events held using the counter were held virtually. The innovations presented have succeeded in helping organize more than 7200 events by 2800 organizers, with ticket sales reaching nearly 500 thousand since the pandemic hit in March to August 2020.

"As a form of support for the industry, the presence of LOKET Live Studio can be used by content creator or anyone who has certain skills and is interested in trying to hold a online event as a key platform to become a new source of income," added Tubagus.

Previous, DailySocial in collaboration with Populix had done productivity related survey online during the era "work from home". Productivity apps (68%) occupied the highest share of the most used during the period, a slight difference from entertainment apps (66%).

For communication tools, most use WhatsApp (68%), then Zoom (16%) and Google Meet (4%). As many as 42% of respondents admitted to using these applications more than 5 hours. Interestingly, educational applications also get a sizable portion, which is 32%.
