Korea Investment Partners and Golden Equator Ventures Provide Funding to Baskit [UPDATED]

Korea Investment Partners is also reportedly preparing a special managed fund to invest in Southeast Asian startups

Korea Investment Partners (KIP) and Golden Equator Ventures participated in Baskit's seed funding round. Previously, startups that focused on digitizing the supply chain had closing initial funding valued at $3,3 million from Betatron Venture Group, Forge Ventures, Investible, 1982 Ventures, DS/X Ventures, Orvel Ventures, Michael Sampoerna, as well as several angel investors.

KIP has previously invested in several Indonesian startups, including CekAja, Halodoc, and Qraved. Our source also said that KIP will immediately prepare managed funds (funds) specifically to invest in Southeast Asian startups.

Apart from Korea, so far KIP has also focused on investing in startups in Europe, the United States, Israel and Southeast Asia. The business landscape that is of concern is: consumer tech, fintech, online media, healthtech, SaaS, and industrial tech.

Baskit captained by three co-founder, namely Yann Schuerman, Yoonjung Yi, and Yasser Arafat. They have years of experience in dealing with the industry consumer retail and distribution. Baskit's main focus is to make the supply chain system that has been built by industry players over decades more efficient and effective through digitalization.

A number of features are presented by Baskit, starting from the module sales force for sales management, B2B commerce product from principal, price data dashboards and insights, 3PL logistics support, to business financing.
