KlikGazz Introduces a Marketplace for Elpiji and Gallon Gas Needs

Starting from a simple idea where gallons of drinking water and LPG gas cylinders are basic needs in various circles of society, there is a online marketplace intended for household needs. This platform was developed by Teguh Bayu Widodo (COO), Edward Hilman (CEO), and David JM (CTO).

Established since November 2017, PT. Klik Gas Indonesia (KlikGazz) is the result of a merger of PT. Raja Rumah International (RAJA RUMAH) with YS Gass which has been running since June 10 2009. This company started its operations in Bandung, before finally becoming part of the incubator program owned by PT. Sinar Mas Land, namely Living Lab Ventures.

Teguh Bayu Widodo as the COO of KlikGazz sees that the high population growth rate in Indonesia is not matched by the availability of household products, especially gallons of water and adequate LPG gas. It is hoped that the presence of KlikGazz will be a solution to fulfill these needs more easily, quickly and affordably.

Besides that, Bayu also discovered the fact that many people are still having trouble getting supplies of gallons and gas quickly. The sales process in this sector is also considered to be very manual. KlikGazz wants to create a more efficient distribution channel as well as a better experience seamless pattern for users in ordering gallons of water and LPG gas.

In addition to providing services to customers or end users, The company also opens opportunities for entrepreneurs who want to become merchant without charging additional fees. Partners will be equipped with an application that can receive notifications and remind orders. "They only need capital for gallons and tubes," added Bayu.

The company has also partnered with beg reliable LPG gas such as Pertamina and the Association of Gas Entrepreneurs. For gallon products, KlikGazz has collaborated with Danone (Aqua, Amidis, Vit).

Future goals

Currently, KlikGazz is still undergoing an incubation period in the incubator program Living Lab Ventures under the Sinarmas Group through Sinarmas Land Limited (together with its subsidiary and affiliate, "Sinar Mas Land"). This program has three main technological aspects, namely Smart Technologies, Digital Life, and Mobility to build a comprehensive digital ecosystem.

According to Bayu Seto as Partner of Living Lab Ventures, the company is currently looking for a platform that can have an impact on problem statements owned by city dwellers. "We're trying to find a solution city ​​centric-driven. In addition, we also see path to profitability of the startup, business model, and founder qualified."

Going forward, the company will also expand its service range to eight new regions besides Bandung and BSD, including Semarang, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Denpasar, Medan, Makassar and Malang. Until now, KlikGazz has more than 50 partners in BSD and Bandung. The target is that next year it will be able to reach 400 partners for BSD alone.
