Kalibrr Aims for 1,2 Million Candidates Registered in Indonesia This Year

The more candidate data collected, the better the AI engine will give job recommendations

Recruitment technology startup Kalibrr targets to attract 1,2 million registered candidates in Indonesia this year. The increase will be driven by increasing partnerships with communities, universities, and holding regular activities every month.

Country Strategy Head Kalibrr Permata Indwita explained, since two years of operation in Indonesia, Kalibrr continues to record a doubling of overall business growth. Whether it's from the number of job seekers, company clients, and so on.

Last year, Kalibrr had more than 500 clients, 700 thousand candidates with the addition of 50 thousand new job seekers every month. In addition, there are more than 10.900 jobs with various positions available. Of this total, 1 million conversations took place via email.

Permata estimates that last year the company has successfully matched more than 40 thousand candidates with the jobs they are aiming for. Approximately 70% of them are positions for supervisor level, associate, and senior managers. On average, these candidates have worked for 2 to 9 years.

"This year we want to grow two-fold so there are 1,2 million job seekers who register on our platform," he explained, yesterday (27/2).

Permata added that the more job seeker data collected, the easier it would be for prospective candidates and companies to find the right candidate. This is because Kalibrr utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) technology to make it easier for candidates to find job vacancies that match their profiles.

When a candidate gets a job vacancy recommendation when accessing the Kalibrr app, simply swipe right or left if interested. Next, they simply fill in the data required by the company if interested. This method is more or less similar to the application online dating kind of Tinder.

Likewise for companies, AI technology will make it easier for them to gather potential candidates according to their preferences in a pool. Later the company simply sends an invitation letter to attract the coveted candidate. In this way, the recruitment process will be much more efficient.

"From the results of our internal research, we found that the candidatesinvite via AI has a 4 times higher accuracy rate forinterview rather than using manual processes."

Not only assisted through AI, Kalibrr hooked Google Jobs to reach more potential candidates who are looking for jobs directly through the giant search engine. Prior to Google, Kalibrr worked closely with Facebook and LinkedIn. This kind of partnership is beneficial, both from the side of the candidate and the company.

Apart from Indonesia, Kalibrr is also present in the Philippines. When these two countries are combined, there are 1,7 million registered candidates, 24 thousand recruiter, and 6 million conversations took place over the past year.

Menurut previous interview, this year Kalibrr plans to expand to Vietnam. This expansion is carried out in order to realize the vision as a leading recruitment technology company.
