D-Pay itself is a financial service that allows merchants to accept payments mobile devices. On the customer side, they can make payments using a debit card or credit card and eWallet from anywhere in the world merchant that supports D-Pay services.

D-Pay with the technology it brings transforms merchants' mobile devices into a multifunctional payment platform. With D-Pay any merchant who does not have access to irrelevant infrastructure or does not generate sufficient revenue for traditional Point-of-Sales (POS) services will be able to accept payments and connect them to the mPOS system.

The presence of the D-Pay solution is expected to be able to increase the number of sales and users of merchants to a higher level. In addition, from a customer perspective, D-Pay is expected to bring another experience in safer payment transactions.

Chief of New Business and Innovation Officer Indosat Ooredoo Prashant Gokarn in his release said that D-Pay as the latest product from Indosat Ooredoo's Mobile Financial Business will complement other existing financial services such as eWallet, Commerce Payment, and so on.

“In Indonesia, payment solutions are still in the early stages of growth, as most retailers still use cash for payments or still charge customers who use credit cards. Apart from being a solution for e-commerce, D-Pay is the answer for Small and Medium Enterprises that need alternative payment methods but the size of their business makes banking solutions seem expensive," said Gokarn.

In response to this collaboration, GoSwiff International's Head of Global Accounts Stefano Diemmi said that his party was proud to have chosen Indosat Ooredoo to provide mobile payment solutions in the broad market in Indonesia. He also hopes that the presence of GoSwiff International technology can serve the public merchant local well.

This D-Pay service will also be packaged with various services such as data, voice, and SMS to support sellers in carrying out their daily business activities.
