Here are the Three Finalists Winners of the Hack@ON 2022 Event!

After a series of hackathon events presented by Bank OCBC NISP together with DailySocial.id "Hack@ON 2022". After going through the final process and strict judging which was held on September 25 yesterday, Hack@ON has officially selected 3 (three) development teams that have the best innovations in responding to the challenges of financial technology innovation. The three teams were Semboja (1st Place), Async (2nd Place), and Evellyn Verity Mesak (3rd Place). What are the profiles of the three participants like? Read more below.

Of the hundreds of ideas that entered the Hack@ON event, the judging took place quite strictly by a team of judges from the Indonesian technology industry, and from Bank OCBC NISP and DailySocial.id as organizers such as; Ka Jit - Director of Strategy Innovation Group Bank OCBC NISP, Komang Arthayasa - Information Technology Division Head Bank OCBC NISP, Altona - Business Incubation Lead Bank OCBC NISP, Farid Naufal - CEO Aruna, and Rama Mamuaya - CEO DailySocial.id. The five judges also agreed to place the Semboja team as the main winner of the Hack@ON 2022 competition.

The Semboja team, fronted by three software engineers from Yogyakarta, namely Gilang Jalu Selo WInoyo Tur, Andang Rian Dimas and also Havit Choirul Rovik came up with an impressive idea titled "OCHA (OCBC CHat Assistant)" which optimizes the WhatsApp chat feature integrated with banking services.

The innovation of the winner of the second position, Async is also no less interesting. Carrying the idea of ​​“Infinancer”, Async enables digital content creators and freelancers to enjoy financial technology solutions tailored to the needs of the profession. Finally, the Evellyn Verity Mesak team, who was in third place, appeared charming and beneficial for the workers with a product idea called EWA (Earned Wage Access), which allows workers to enjoy fixed income-based instant financing facilities.

“Today's digital talent is not only centered in the technology industry, but also in the banking industry. Technology adoption has become part of a business, so that career opportunities can be carried out in various fields, without exception in the banking sector," said Julie Anwar as Head of Human Capital Bank OCBC NISP responding to the success of the Hack@ON 2022 event.

As additional information, the winners of the Hack@ON 2022 event will receive attractive prizes provided by the organizers. The three finalists above will get a total prize of IDR 225 million. The Semboja team will get a prize of Rp. 100 million, the Async team is entitled to a prize of Rp. 75 million, and finally the Evellyn Verity Mesak team is entitled to a cash prize of Rp. 50 million.
