GoPay Selected by Users as the Best Application of the Year on Google Play

GoPay won two prestigious awards at the Google Play Best of 2023 Award. In period voting for two weeks, on November 1-14 2023, Google Play users designated GoPay as the "Best Application" and "Best Daily Application"

Hans Patuwo, President of GoTo's Fintech Unit said, "We are grateful for the user's choice so that GoPay succeeded in winning the Play Best of 2023 Award in the Best Application and Best Daily Application categories at the Google Play Best of 2023 Award."

Hans said that the GoPay application was created by paying attention to what users really need, including ensuring that the application is simple, easy to use and small in size so that everyone can easily download it. "We are very happy that in less than four months, users are already relying on the GoPay application for their daily financial needs," said Hans.

“We thank the millions of users who have downloaded and trusted the GoPay application for all their financial needs. "In 2024, we will introduce more features in the GoPay application, in line with our mission to help everyone improve their financial balance through simple, safe and responsible financial services," he continued.

Not just a payment tool, GoPay also integrates transfer, saving and even borrowing functions in one application. This is an innovative step for GoPay to reach more consumers outside the ecosystem Gojek and Tokopedia.

GoPay's main focus is to provide financial convenience, such as free transfers to various banks, credit package payments, and bills, all of which can be done more affordably.

To date, the GoPay application has been downloaded millions of times. Interestingly, around 50% of users who transact via GoPay are new or returning users. About one in four of them also transact on the platform Gojek or Tokopedia.

GoPay doesn't just focus on shopping payments online. Users can pay PLN, PDAM, BPJS bills, as well as public services such as PBB, PKB, local taxes and Pegadaian. Apart from that, GoPay makes payments easier voucher games, subscriptions to entertainment applications on Google Play, to premium services such as YouTube, Netflix and Spotify.
