Google+ Games To Be Discontinued On June 30, 2013

On May 15, Google announced that games that were previously available on Google+ will be discontinued on June 30.

Google+ does provide a variety of games to play via this social network, there is a menu on the side for the 'games' category which when clicked will lead to a list page game. Click option game to play via Google+.

In official announcement Google explains that if you want to keep playing game certain can contact the developer gameher, and some developers game has provided an alternative link to play game they.

As an additional explanation for users who have already made payments, some game move data so that users can play payments that have not been made, some game provide other facilities, such as a grace period to use credit that is still owned before closing.

As quoted from Android Authority, this closure is related to the official release of Google Play Game Services which was announced at the Google I/O event yesterday. This explanation also appears in the announcement of the closure of Google+ Games.

Google Play Games itself is basically a service that has a game progress save feature in cloud, there will be Achievement and Leaderboard features, as well as Multiplayer which allows users to play with 4 other people on Android.
