Entering the Fourth Age, Ralali Focuses on Helping MSME Business Development

As a B2B marketplace, claims in the last two years the transaction value has increased by 900%

This year, July 24 to be exact Ralali turned four years old. Ralali, which has a marketplace business concept for providing business needs in Indonesia, was established in 2013. Over time, Ralali, which initially only provided maintenance, repairs, and operational (MRO) goods, now has more than 12 categories with thousands of suppliers. Ralali claims the success of its services with the transaction value that continues to increase, reaching 900% in the last two years.

In its fourth year, the company is still trying to keep going with its vision of becoming a bridge that facilitates the relationship between sellers and buyers in the Business-to-Business (B2B) sector. This year, it is said that Ralali will focus on providing convenience for MSME owners in running their business, this is done by developing three online business pillars namely marketplace, finance and logistics.

“In its fourth year, Ralali.com still adheres to its initial commitment, which is to become a business solution in Indonesia. With Ralali.com as a B2B marketplace, it is hoped that it will make it easier for Indonesians who want to start or run their businesses so that they will later participate in developing the Indonesian economy,” said Joseph Aditya, CEO and Founder of Ralali.

Joseph added that Ralali's business goal is to make Ralali's Friends (buyers at Ralali) have access to supportive business support. In addition to the availability of goods, Ralali is also committed to continuing to innovate in terms of financing, funding and payment solutions. In addition, Ralali will also work with logistics companies such as SAP Express to make it easier and faster to deliver goods.

Separately, Public Relations Executive Ralali Marseka Citra to DailySocial tells the trend of demand for goods for business needs to develop along with the growth of the market place in general. Ralali also saw a change or transformation from conventional ordering of goods to digital form. That's where Ralali tries to meet the needs by relying on efficiency in sectors, channels and financing.

Ralali is said to have collaborated with many suppliers, both from within and outside the country. With various categories now available, Ralali can reach a wider segment. According to internal data, if last year the transaction category was still dominated by Machinery and Industrial Parts with the percentage of transactions reaching 55% of total transactions, now categories such as Computer & Communication, Food & Beverages, and Beauty, Sports & Textile continue to increase.

In addition to adding categories, Ralali also offers an RFQ (Request for Quotation) feature. A feature that allows buyers at Ralali to enter any requests for goods they want even though they don't know which supplier can fulfill them. On the other hand, the seller can also provide a quote for the request.

“RFQ exists because we see everyone's business needs are different and sellers can make offers according to their fields. Through RFQ we can meet the needs of unique items such as elevator speedometer and concrete shears. The Contact Seller feature is also available if Friends of Ralali already know where the right supplier is and plans to order custom made goods, "explained Joseph.

Ralali is diligent in embracing many local entrepreneurs or MSMEs. The company manages the Tribes.id portal, a channel that was deliberately built to help develop MSMEs in Indonesia.

“Technology affects all areas of life and is the key to business development today. Ralali.com has the best players in its field when it comes to technology development. With the support of a good team and prioritizing technology, Ralali is optimistic to become the largest and most trusted B2B (Business to Business) online marketplace," concluded Marsela.
