Edit Office Documents Now Can Directly Via Gmail

Good news for those who frequently exchange Microsoft Office documents via Email. Update The new Gmail brings a very useful Office integration, which allows users to open and edit Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents right from within inbox.

Before this, the process was a bit more complicated because users had to first add the document they wanted to edit to Google Drive before finally opening it in Google Docs, Sheets or Slides. Now, users just need to click on the edit button that appears on the attachment.

Once clicked, the Docs, Sheets or Slides editor page automatically appears (depending on the format fillet found in attachment). From there the user can immediately make modifications if needed.
