The first solution that can be tried is to perform an early-stage cleaning procedure. How in your Canon printer application click file - Print - Properties - Maintenance - Cleaning.
Next, let the printer do its own cleaning, there will be a command to do a print test and see the results. If it's still normal, then you can print documents as usual.
But if not, repeat this cleaning process 3 times, but if the problem still persists, then do the following procedure.
2. Do a Deep Cleaning
Deep cleaning is a further step from the first cleaning procedure. The method of access is the same, file - Print - Properties - Maintenance - Deep Cleaning.
In the deep cleaning procedure, it usually takes longer, and later in the final stage you will also be asked to print a test print to see the results.
3. Wash and Clean the Cartridge
If the two cleaning procedures above have not resolved your problem, then you can take the third method which for some people has succeeded in solving all problems.
- Prepare warm water in a bowl or basin
- Remove the cartridge from the printer
- Soak the bottom of the printer, if the position is correct later some parts of the ink will come out and mix with water. Leave it for a few minutes.
- Remove the cartridge and dry with a paper towel until no more ink comes out.
- If necessary, you can add a little ink to the cartridge.
- Reinstall the cartridge and try using it to print the document.
4. Replace Cartridge
