Plasa.com CEO Reportedly Resigns

We received news that the CEO of Plasa.com, Iriana Muadz, has officially stepped down today. Iriana has served as CEO of Plasa.com since March 2011, coincided with the entry of Widi Nugroho as COO Plasa.com. Iriana previously worked in the FMCG field and was a Marketing Director at HeinzABC and Bintang Toedjoe.

Under his leadership, Plasa.com seeks to strengthen its position in the online retail with a number of rebrandings, including changing the appearance of the site and the removal of the Mojopia entity -- the forerunner of Plasa.com to transform into online marketplace. Plasa.com also ventures into the media field. In collaboration with MSN, Plasa.com founded PlasaMSN which directly competes with Yahoo! Indonesia. PlasaMSN replaces MSN Indonesia which had been neglected for a long time. To manage this media business, Plasa.com recruited Wicaksono (or better known as Ndoro Kakung).

This is the second time Plasa.com has been left by its leadership in the last two years, after Shinta Dhanuwardoyo resign at the end of 2010. We don't know who will replace Iriana as the new CEO of Plasa.com (or interim CEO). It is very likely that COO Widi Nugroho will run the company until the new leadership is appointed by Telkom selI'm the parent company.
