Bukalapak Adds Bus Ticket Purchase Features

Bukalapak continues to enrich its services so that it remains one stop marketplace. Most recently, they feature an online bus ticket purchase feature. While this feature is only available on desktop version of the website. For the application, it is said that Bukalapak will follow soon.

Just like ordering train or plane tickets, users can choose their origin city, destination city, and departure date. The available destinations are spread from the islands of Sumatra, Java, to Nusa Tenggara. There are Aceh, Bengkulu, Tuban, Banyuwangi, Denpasar, to Bima.

Next, the user can choose the departure schedule, choose a seat online, fill in personal data, and complete the payment. Users can choose the available payment options.

Previously, Traveloka had also released a bus ticket booking feature, to be precise March 2018. As for startups that specifically sell bus tickets in Indonesia, there are actually several, including RedBus, EasyBook, Bosbis, and BusTiket.
