Budi Rahardjo: "Disagree. ID Just Opened"
This morning, on the official mailing list #LocalStartup enlivened with a post from BudiRahardjo. Budi is the person who serves as ccTLD ID, he gives statement pada blogher that she didn't agree with the opening second level domain *.id and in the future will continue to use third level domain such as .co.id, .net.id, .ac.id, .sch.id, .go.id, .web.id, etc.
However, Budi Rahardjo did not give a clear reason for his disagreement with the opening second level domain *.id. Following statement Budi Rahardjo which we quote from the blog:
I wanted to have a more in-depth discussion on this, but the news in the community and out there is confusing. This news has even appeared in foreign media. Very ambiguous.
So I hereby, still serving as ccTLD ID, declare that I DO NOT AGREE to the use of .ID domains without a second level domain (SLD). So please understand.
I don't know how long Budi Rahardjo will 'keep' the reason for his disapproval of opening it second level domain *.id, which will certainly be very interesting to see the reasons he will explain to the public.
Although they may not be related, Budi Rahardjo wrote: post the latest (after the question about the .id domain) entitled “Loss of Pride for Indonesia" In the article Budi said: "Everything in Indonesia is sold and pawned to foreign parties, for the sake of globalization or the global market, sacrifice (pride of) Indonesia". Does this indicate that second level domain *.id is not allowed to be opened to the public (even globally) and will continue to use it in the future third-level domains as it is now?
