Website Services "Budget Hotel" Not Many People Know

The W&S Market Research survey revealed that only 7% of the 2.000 respondents were aware of the site

Along with the rapid development of the tourism and travel industry, this sector has made more and more new service innovations grow. Especially in tourist destinations such as Indonesia. One of the innovations that are also developing today is a site-based online service budget hotels. That is an online service that provides information on renting hotel rooms or lodging for the lower middle class, aka at very low prices.

Indeed, this business model is still quite new, as evidenced by the survey results W&S Market Research targeting at least 2.000 respondents from various circles in Indonesia, only 7 percent (or around 170 people) know about the site budget hotels. Nevertheless, by "offline " rental model guest houses or daily boarding rooms have mushroomed in popular tourist spots, such as Yogyakarta or Bandung.

From multiple sites budget hotels currently serving users in Indonesia, the ones most known to respondents from this survey are Zenrooms (17,9%), RedDoorz (12,9%), AiryRooms (9,3%), and NidaRooms (7,1%). This is quite in line with the city coverage included in the service, Zenrooms is listed as a site service provider budget hotels with the largest city coverage in Indonesia. Even on average, the prices offered tend to be more affordable, although it is true that almost all of these services are competitively priced.

If talking about brand awareness, from the most common, what is a site about budget hotels, still very few know about it. This indicates that a more outreach and more serious marketing and recognition strategy is needed. It's not easy, because the service online ticketing which are already commonly used, such as the Traveloka or Tiket.com site, in fact, also provide options for lower-class accommodation in their search list.

However, even though it will focus on the niche, once again, the marketing strategy becomes sufficient foundation fundamental to develop business. Still from the results of the same survey, that the name Zenrooms is more widely known through two things, namely recommendations from person to person and from articles on the internet. This method is not far from the culture of society when planning a trip, ask relatives who have visited related places or read other people's experiences on the internet. So maybe these two methods are worth pursuing and getting more investment to introduce the service more broadly.
