Berrybenka Books US$5 Million Series B Funding from Transcosmos, Focuses On Company Expansion

There is no doubt that stretching E-commerce Indonesia is experiencing great development. Company E-commerce which engages in the field of fashion specifically for women, Berrybenka received series B strategic funding. Through its press release today (21/11), PT Berrybenka, announced that it received series B funding from Transcosmos inc and GREE Ventures. Reportedly the total funds received, as much as USD 5 million. This is a sizeable amount for the series B funding round that took place in Indonesia.

Transcosmos Inc. is a Tokyo-based company. So far, it is famous for its ability to combine human resources and the latest technology. Transcosmos inc provides IT services outsourcing such as Call Center Services, Business Process Outsourcing Services, and Digital Marketing Services, to optimize marketing efficiency, increase sales and acquire new customers in the e-commerce business on a global scale.

With this fresh injection of funds, Berrybenka plans to strengthen its position in the E-commerce, while continuing to develop into a player fashion e-commerce international standard. With the funds received, the initial steps will be to expand the product, expand the logistics network and launch applications mobile devices to improve customer shopping experience.

Next Jason also expressed his impatience for the changes that will be made in the new service that Berrybenka will offer. He added in addition to product expansion, by adding new categories. To achieve this, Jason told DailySocial via email that he will increase the number of his team because it also requires strengthening the logistics/fulfillment infrastructure as well as marketing.

Berrybenka has also previously secured seed funding from East Ventures. Next is Series A funding from GREE Ventures which also re-participated in this series B funding.
