Astranauts 2023 Registration Officially Opens, Aim for Startups and Digital Innovation Students

Astranauts opened its registration again this year, from March 8 to April 30 2023 to be precise. As is well known, this is the second year Astranauts has been held, with a focus on developing the digital and technology ecosystem in Indonesia. This focus is in line with Astra's aspirations to prosper with the nation and support Indonesia's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

Astranauts 2023 carries the theme "Building A Sustainable Future Through Technology", which targets innovation and technology in theg sustainability, edu-tech, emerging tech, health, agribusiness, mobility, fintech, logistics, as well media & entertainment.

Astranauts Chief of Group Digital Strategy Paul Soegianto said, Astranauts was initiated by Astra as a form of support for the development of digital innovation for startup and students in Indonesia, as well as being the answer to business and technology challenges that can contribute to issues sustainability.

"This is in line with Astra's goal to build business sustainability for today and the future of Indonesia," said Paul.

The initial selection series will start from the session preliminary round, which will take the 10 finalists off track startup and students. All of these finalists will receive mentorship sessions from experts in their fields.

Later, the selected finalists will present their business ideas on the Demo Day. This session will conclude with the 2023 Astranauts Awarding on 7 June 2023. On 8 June 2023, an Astranauts Conference will be held which offers a variety of interesting topics with expert speakers from their fields.

Astranauts itself targets participants from the middle class startup and active students with diploma, bachelor, or master degree in Indonesia. For the record, participants in the startup category must have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and product traction. While participants from among students can submit ideas that have not been implemented and commercialized.

In its second year, Astranauts also cooperates with various technology companies and large institutions, starting from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Biofarma, Blue Bird Group, GDP Labs, Sime Darby, MD Entertainment, Google Cloud Indonesia, Meta Indonesia, Microsoft Indonesia, Halodoc, Mapan, Trade, eFishery, Rekosistem, Kerry Express Indonesia, Paxel, Waresix, Ayoconnect, Kejora Capital, Plug and Play Indonesia, Arkblu, Kumpul ID, Astra Startup Community, and Indonesia LPDP Entrepreneurs Club (ILEC). All of these partners will be involved as mentors, judges at the Demo Day, and as speakers at the Astranauts Conference.  

Both the Astranauts 2023 winners from the category startup and students will get cash prizes totaling hundreds of millions of rupiah. Not only that, the winners will also have the opportunity to collaborate and join as part of the Astra Startup Community.
