PriceArea Introduces New Look and Features

PriceArea is making changes. This price comparison site made changes to the display for refreshment. In addition, PriceArea will also launch several features which they call “killer feature" soon.

The display changes made by PriceArea mainly move the search field that was previously in the middle of the screen, to be on the right. Beside the search column, there is a map of Indonesia which seems to illustrate that PriceArea has search area coverage throughout Indonesia. On the page, PriceArea writes that users can search for products and prices from 200.000 sellers throughout Indonesia.

In addition to changes in appearance, in the near future PriceArea will also launch a new service called Pricelist. Pricelist (price list) is a feature that lists tens of thousands of new and used products collected not only from sellers online, even directly to the merchant. Not only can they see, PriceArea users can interact by using existing feature services.

There are three interaction features provided by PriceArea in Pricelist, namely Price Alert, Price Trend, and Price Drop. All the features provided are said to not only aim to increase customer satisfaction but also as a tool to increase valuation merchant partners.

PriceArea will roll out this Pricelist feature in stages. The first three categories to be launched are the three leading categories of cars, mobile phones, and computers. PriceArea tries to present Pricelist features in an accurate, complete, updated manner.

PriceArea has also added new features to its search service. Users will be able to use PriceArea to search prices and products for the Airfare and Hotel categories. The tab for this feature is now available even though the feature is not yet usable.
